Before I leave the USA or it destroys itself, I’d like to visit Rockies and as many places as possible.
Day 1

heading towards Mt. Hood

Dinner at the camp

Drive for the Day

Day 2

A bit of a hike before heading towards Utah

Not the proper Mt. Hood

Decided to stay in Mitchell
Oregon 97750

Day 3

Started early to see John Day Fossil Beds National Monument Oregon

The most interesting part of the day perhaps was to visit the Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site – The Chinese before me who came to the USA and left a legacy

Decided to stay in Boise for the day

Day 4

Driving into Idaho. It’s a Sunday, so I took it easy

I learned a new word called Aquifer

Essentially that’s where water in Idaho is from

Later, I did a little cycling tour around Twin Falls

My bicycle

Day 5
On my way! to Utah it’s also the day a deer hit me

It’s unfortunate I didn’t get a clear mind to appreciate Golden Spike National Monument and I had to skip the Bird Refugee next to it to get my car squared away

Decided to head to Logan, UT to get a rental and leave my car there

still managed a bike ride

Day 6

Continued with my rental

Decided to camp early

Day 7

Bear Lake

Flaming Gorge

Decided to Stay at Vernal, UT for the night. Cute small town with good beers and food

What a fun read. You’ve got the right idea to visit places before the USA destroys itself. That is incredible you visited so many peaceful and beautiful places in Oregon, Idaho, and Utah. And, even had such well-planned bicycle trips even after Deer Day. I hope your car is in a better state now. And, thank goodness it didn’t seem to get hit in the front of the car and total it. Thanks for sharing the adventures.
