Day 1
Started off with Dinosaur national monument
Decided to camp, but since the brewery doesn’t offer to-go so I had a pint in town
Museum in town
got a water front site
It became my last camp night. I think camping in a conversative part of the state where all the unfriendly white guys next to me and partying all night had an impact. I think also perhaps I was tired of tent camping, too.
Day 2
Next day stop by a Botanical Gardens in Steamboats Springs, CO
There’s a wedding there that day weirdly
Decided to do a Alpine hike to to experience the rockies!
After that, stopped by a small museum in a mining town called Hot Sulphur Springs (it does have a Hot Springs in town. can’t be more creative in naming its town)
Entered Rock Mountain NP from its west gate
The deer population seem to be much better behaved in the Rockies

Time to settle in Boulder. A lot of driving that day
The lovely hotel staff told me to park on street to save $$$, very sweet.
Day 3
Morning ride to downtown
Was insanely busy, drained my energy a bit
Decided to bail on the canyon hike but to get happy hours early
Day 4
Hotel breakfast was pretty good, though I don’t really eat breakfast.
Headed to Boulder’s Flatirons
Then it’s the Mineral Museum in Golden
And the amphitheater
A bit happy hour after
Stayed in the outskirt of Denver
Day 5
Decided to take train to Downtown
World Cup was still going on
Took train back and going towards the wildness
Driving towards Mt. Bluesky
Stayed at Summit county – A hostel in Silverthorne. It’s just amazing how much city of 4k pop has to offer.
Day 6
Just two relaxing bike days!
Of course some exotic German Sausages
